Özet: The Kominsky Method, yaşlanmış olmanın verdiği kaçınılmaz sorunlarla boğuşan eski bir aktör ve onun menajerinin Los Angeles’taki yaşantısını konu alıyor. Dizide Michael Douglas, kısa süren oyunculuk kariyerinin ardından Hollywood’da oyuncu koçu olarak yaşamını sürdüren Sandy karakterini canlandırırken; Alan Arkin ise Sandy’nin menajeri Norman’a hayat veriyor. Yaşamın hem güldüren hem de hüzünlendiren taraflarını izleyiciye aktaracak olan dizi, ne olursa olsun bazı dostlukların eskimediğini bizlere anlatıyor.






Michael Douglas ve Alan Arkin ile beraber dizinin oyuncu kadrosunda Lisa Edelstein, Emily Osment, Danny DeVito, Jay Leno, Sarah Baker ve Nancy Travis gibi isimler yer alıyor. Senaryosu Al Higgins, David Javerbaum ve Chuck Lorre tarafından yazılan dizinin ilk bölümünün yönetmenliğini Chuck Lorre yaptı. Chuck Lorre Productions ve Warner Bros. Television ortaklığıyla çekilen dizinin yapımcılığını ise Lorre, Higgins ve Michael Douglas üstleniyor.
