Özet: Filmin kahramanı Ash (Bruce Campbell) şeytanlarla büyük bir mücadele içerisine girer ve ölülerin kitabını yakarak, güneşin de doğması ile şeytanları yok eder. Şeytanların elinden tek kurtulan Ash'tır. Kabusun bittiğini zannederek kulübeden dışarı çıkar fakat iblis hala Ash'ın peşindedir.
Dizi, klasik korku filmi Evil Dead serisinin uzun zamandır beklenen devamı niteliğinde olacak. Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) Evil Dead teröründen 30 yıl boyunca kaçmasına rağmen testeresini eline alarak şeytan avlama macerasına devam edecektir. Şeytan "Deadite" tüm insanlığa veba gibi bulaşmış, insanlığı yok etmekle tehtid etmektedir. Ash insanlığın tek umudu haline gelir ve nihayet şeytanlarla yüzleşmek zorunda kalır.
