Özet: 1960'ların aynı adlı kült dizisinin yeniden çevrimi olan yapım bu sefer odak noktasına soğuk savaş döneminin diktatörlerini değil bizzat "kapitalizmi" alıyor.

Michael, bir gün gözlerini bir çölde açar. Hiçbir şey hatırlamamaktadır. Hayatında görmediği bir yerleşim yerine hapsolmuştur. Bu yerleşim yeri yani "Köy"'de kendisine yeni bir kimlik, yeni bir ad verilmiştir. Köydekilerin hepsinin adı bir numaradır.
"Ben numara değilim."
Yeni adı 6 olan Michael, köyden kaçış için bir mücadeleye girişecektir. Karşısında köydeki otoritenin simgesi "numara 2" vardır.
