Özet: Olaylar 1915-1917'de ortaya çıkıyor. Birinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında bir Rus sürgününden Almanya'ya kaçan Marksist teorisyen ve yayıncı Alexander Parvus, Almanya Dışişleri Bakanı Gottlieb von Jagow ile başarılı bir şekilde müzakere ediyor. Müzakereler sonucunda Alman hükümeti, savaşan Rus imparatorluğunda bir devrim organize etmesi için kişisel olarak Parvus'a para tahsis eder. Parvus, alınan fonlarla St. Petersburg'daki halk kitlelerinin protesto eylemlerini finanse eder ve uzaktan uyarır, bu da İmparator II. Nicholas'ın gücünün sona ermesine ve Rus İmparatorluğu'ndaki monarşinin devrilmesine yol açar. Ardından Parvus, Bolşeviklerin lideri Vladimir Lenin'in bir grup arkadaşıyla birlikte Rusya'ya göçünün Rusya'ya dönüşünü organize ediyor.
