Özet: Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, karizmatik ama kötücül bir başkan tarafından yönetilen, baskıcı bir rejine dönüşmüştür. Başkanın kitleleri eğlendirmek için yarattığı favori etkinlik ise Ölüm Yarışı'dır. Birbirinden değişik silahlarla donanmış ölümcül 5 takım, yayaları öldürmeye ve birbirlerini yoketmeye odaklı bu korkunç yarışta kapışırlar. Uzun yıllardır yarışın yenilmez şampiyonu olan Frankenstein, yarı insan yarı makina bir savaşçıdır. Diğer yarışçılar Machine Gun Joe, Nero the Hero, Calamity Jane ve Matilda the Hun Frankenstein'ı tahtından indirmek için uğraşadursun, rejim karşıtı hareketin öncüsü Thomasina Paine'in yarışı manipüle ederek başkanı düşürmek gibi kendi planları vardır.
